Belkin.Range Extender For My Home

We live in a technological age with the internet and data transfer all around us. An age with data caps which makes us focus more on Download Nighthawk App for Computer using cellular as well as Wi-Fi networks for surfing the internet. Many times you might have used data more than provided by your network provider and had to pay overdue charges! You must’ve then opted for a home Wi-Fi network by a local ‘Internet Service Provider’. I am a ‘Web Developer’ working at a startup and spend around 10-12 hours at my workplace until all our jobs got dreaded because of the spread of a deadly virus ‘COVID-19’.

I wasn’t having a job for about a month and then after the commencement of some businesses and release of the lockdown of the state, I was entitled to work from home. It was quite difficult at first while communicating with clients as well as my colleagues during the commencement of a project. I was using ‘At&t’ Internet service which provides some incredible data plans and speeds at affordable rates. I have just 2 rooms in my small house of about 12 x 12 feet in each room. My computer is situated on the corner of my room and the Wi-Fi router installed at one corner of my hall, I had a ton of problems even to download as well as upload small files to the internet.

I had other devices to entertain me like my XBOX, Smart TV, and my iPad. They had different Wi-Fi protocols, was difficult to survive on my Wi-Fi alone as they kept getting signal losses and interruption in the network during use.

Belkin extender Features

After undergoing some intensive research online about routers and the required features for me on blogs, YouTube, and Amazon, I selected Belkin as my preferred repeater brand and got one at the sale! I can never be happier with the stability and the consistency of the product. Hence, I chose the Belkin N600 Wi-Fi extender.
The first thing that caught my attention was its build and form-factor.

  • It is tiny having two antennas on either side and has a LAN port for wired internet connection at the bottom.
  • So, the two antennas are capable of producing 2.4GHz and 5 GHz networks respectively. It offers speeds up to 300 MB/s.

The actual network speed heavily depends on the Wi-Fi band that it is connected to and the distance of your Belkin repeater from your main Wi-Fi router. According to my experience, Nighthawk-app.com both the bands offered fairly good and consistent speeds throughout my work time. I had no issues no matter what. The range was pretty darn good and I was very pleased with the overall experience. The setup process was something that made me love the product even more! Let us go through the setup process.
